Do not scroll. Just react.

A Chrome extension that minimizes the time between your thought and your reaction. It replaces the sluggish category scrolling with an instant, keyboard-driven search bar that understands what you mean—even when you make typos.

Key Features

  • Lightning Fast: Open the native emoji bar having the search field auto-focused. Type “fire”, hit Enter. Done.
  • Frecency Prediction: We track what emojis you use. Type “y” and get your favorite “yes” emoji immediately, whether it’s 👍, ✅, or 🫡.
  • Deep Semantic Search: Don’t just search by filename. Search “mind blown” to find 🤯, or “satisfaction” to find 😌. It understands the vibe, not just the name.
  • Social Context: The extension watches the meeting. If your colleague drops a 🦞 (lobster), that emoji gets a temporary boost in your search results. Reacting to the room’s energy becomes instant.
  • Typo Tolerance: It knows that “fier” means “fire” 🔥 and “thmb” means “thumbs up” 👍.
  • Privacy First: All processing runs locally in your browser. No data leaves your machine.

How It Works

This extension is designed to be invisible until you need it.

  1. Open the Emoji Bar: Click the smile icon in Google Meet (or use the native shortcut).
  2. Just Type: The extension overlays a search bar that is immediately focused.
  3. React: Press Enter to send the top match, or use arrows to select another.

It bridges the gap between the 9 standard reactions and the full library, making the full library actually usable in real-time conversation.

Technical Approach

The extension is built with WXT and plain TypeScript. It injects a lightweight UI into the Google Meet DOM only when the reaction bar is detected. It uses custom logic to “fuzzy match” your input against thousands of emoji keywords and descriptions, sorting results by a “frecency” algorithm (Frequency + Recency) stored in your local browser storage.
